The Three Amigos on the Old Santa Fe Trail Yikes! All three in church at the same time and the walls didn't crumble!! There may be hope for us yet. This trio of miscreants had been known, 50 odd years ago, to sit in the choir loft in the Torrejon AFB Chapel and fly paper airplanes made of mass programs down into the congregation, a stunt that had a brief life and was terminated when one craft caught a breeze and flew all the way to the altar. Our parents had a short, sharp discussion with us after mass. For the story on the famous spiral staircase of the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, click here |
